Transformation as Reality. Process. Success. Driver.

Foundational Story

We live in a time when change is not optional—it is a matter of survival and justice.

Societies change—through crises, technology, and social movements. At the heart of this change are organizations: they can preserve stagnation or open new pathways. imagineers lab exists out of the conviction that change must be consciously shaped.

Not by refining what is old, but by drawing on imagination, trusting human sources of knowledge, and daring new forms of coexistence.

Our philosophy

Our work is built on a clear foundation: four guiding principles that inform our actions and the way we shape change.

We take imagination seriously as transformative infrastructure. Visions, fantasies, and dreams of what could be open pathways that reach beyond the status quo.

We draw on stories, memories, intuition, and cultural wisdom. Knowledge from past and present, from near and far, becomes part of our processes.

For us, change is not a destination, but a living process. It emerges when relationships, structures, and stories resonate—bringing new realities into being.

We create spaces where perspectives from the margins take center stage. We approach knowledge with responsibility: not as something to be consumed, but as a relationship to be honored and sustained.

Our orientation

Our work is guided by three principles. They serve as our compass in every project:

Holistic Transformation

Change begins within—in how we see ourselves, relate to others, and hold our stance. By linking body, emotion, history, and system, we ensure change is not fragmented but truly transformative.

Generative Imagination

We open possibilities that reach beyond what exists. For us, imagination is not a dream but a tool—bringing together critical futures thinking, collective storytelling, and creative action to make futures tangible.

Epistemic Justice

In a world where some forms of knowledge are valued above others, we create spaces where many ways of knowing stand on equal ground. Experiential knowledge, artistic practice, spiritual and indigenous perspectives—all strengthen and root change.

Our foundation.

In our offering, we bring this philosophy to life—together with organizations, communities, and people who don’t wait for the future, but create it.
